Lee served as president of the Miami Chapter of the Appraisal Institute from 1990 to 1991. He has completed Appraisal Institute courses 1A, 1A-A, 1B, 1B-A, II, VI, Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, 510, 530, 550, 600, 610, 110, 120, and 210. In addition, he has taught courses 1A-1, 1A-2, 8-2, 1B-A, 1B-B, 110, 120, 210, 310, 320, 410, 430, 510, 550, 600, 610 and 620 at the Appraisal Institute. He has also given seminars in 15 states, Canada and South Korea. He was also Special Master for the Dade County Valuation Adjustment Board from 1989 to 1996. Lee has also authored seminars entitled "Dynamics of Office Building Valuation," Why the Capitalization Rate is Always 10" and "Appraisal of Real Estate 10th vs. 11th Edition."
In his experience, Lee has appraised a variety of properties, including, but not limited to industrial buildings, office buildings, historical buildings, warehouses, retail stores, hotels, motels, service stations, U.S. Post Offices, hospitals, marinas, restaurants, churches and synagogues.
Lee is a State Certified General Appraiser, State of Florida license number RZ162, and a registered real estate broker.
